BIBLE TIME FUN THROUGH THE BIBLE
Start teaching your children about the Bible today!
My name is Claire Evans. I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls. My husband and I believe it is important to teach our girls who God is, and we feel it’s never too early to start teaching children about God.

When my oldest, Alyssa was about 6 months, we began searching for kid friendly devotionals that we can do as a family. After searching and not finding exactly what we were looking for, we decided to create one. We put our heads together and came up with Bible Time.

Bible Time is a kids Bible study that helps parents with preschool age children teach the Bible in a fun and interactive way. Whether you’re looking for a children's story book, interactive devotional, or Bible based homeschool curriculum, Bible Time has something to offer.

We began using Bible Time with my oldest daughter (Alyssa) when she was about one years old. We started with simple Bible stories and interactive rhymes that I wrote. We also sang easy Bible songs that related to each story, and did corresponding hand motions. One of the first Bible songs Alyssa learned was "This Little Light of Mine", which remains one of her favorites.

My youngest, Kayla, was born 13 months after Alyssa. We started using Bible Time with her right away. Now, Alyssa is 3 and Kayla is 2 and we continue to teach them every day.

My husband and I are amazed with how much the girls retain from every Bible lesson. They can recite Bible verses and re-tell Bible stories in their account, and be pretty accurate. They have their favorite Bible stories and characters and most important, they have a desire to learn more about God every day. It brings me great joy when they ask if we can read a Bible story together.

Many moms who know my daughters, are impressed with how much they know about the Bible and ask me what we’re doing to teach them so that they actually remember. I finally have the chance to sit down and write down some of the things we do during our daily devotion. I wanted to share what we’ve been doing so that you too, can begin to lay the foundation of God’s word in your child’s heart and mind. If you wish to follow along with the children's Bible lesson plan that we lay out for our daughters, feel free by clicking this link.

The Story Book

Bible-Time Stories and Rhymes is the Bible storybook that I wrote for my girls. The stories are simple and for each story there is an interactive rhyme that sum up the story in 4 lines.  Each rhyme also has hand motions that help engage your children and bring the story to life in a fun way. You can use your own Bible storybook if you choose.

Their blog is a beautiful testament to their growth, as they inspire others through their writing and lessons they've learned along the way. We invite you to join Alyssa and Kayla on their blog, where they share their adventures, insights, and the boundless love they experienced from God.
