Isaiah 61:10

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God.

For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Key Thought

This is promise was originally given to Gods people in the book of Isaiah.

In many ways, this is our promise as Christians today.

We do rejoice greatly because God has delivered us from law, sin, and death through the coming of our Lord and Savior. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, as God's children we are clothed with Christ and given garments of salvation and robes of his righteousness.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me righteous by Jesus’ sacrifice. May I live in such a way that those around me know that you have made me complete in your righteousness. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
