2 Corinthians 5:19-20
That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
The price has been paid. The ransom has been provided.
God's judgment was diverted, not because of anything we did him, but by his own sacrifice of Jesus for our sins. If God has gone to such great lengths to reconcile us to himself, how can we refuse?
Let us offer up our hearts so we can be reconciled to God!
Father God, I thank you for your grace, your love and your great sacrifice. I offer you my heart so I can be reconciled to you. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen
