Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct your paths.

Key Thought

When life gets tough, I find it easy call out to God for help. He is my strength and my support. I will confess, that when things are going well and I am basking in his blessings I sometimes forget to acknowledge that all the blessings and all the opportunities I have received came from God’s loving grace. I must learn that whether in joy or sorrow, success or failure, I must completely trust God and not lean on my own understanding. He will direct me down the path of righteousness.

Heavenly Father, I know every good thing I have in my life has comes from you. My family, the protection I have received, the values that I hold, the successes I have enjoyed, and the hope I have are all mine because of your grace and not my goodness. Thank you for continuing blessings! Amen.
