If it's our outward circumstances, we're all in trouble because sooner or later, we will face difficult situations. The secret to living above life's circumstances is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the assurance that no matter how things are, we are not alone. No matter how difficult things might be, these problems are not permanent. No matter how hard life gets, or how many trials we face, Jesus will give us the strength to overcome.

O Lord, thank you for the strength, the comfort, and the presence of Christ today. I pray that I can find happiness in whatever trial or difficult situation I face. Amen.
