Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Key Thought

Galatians reminds us again and again that law cannot make us righteous or save us.

However, the Law does one very important thing. It leads us to Christ.

We recognize right and wrong because of the Law. We recognize our failures, imperfections, sins, transgressions, and weaknesses because of the Law. Most of all, we recognize our need for a Savior because of the Law.

Thank God for the Law. And thank God even more for Jesus!

Prayer

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving us your Law in order to bring us to Jesus. Guide me so that I can know Jesus more and more each day. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
